E27 Gas discharge lamps are light bulbs that emit an intense light due to the release of pressurized gas and are also known as HID bulbs (High Intensity Discharge). This gas discharge lamp has an E27 screw base, or a base with a diameter of 27 millimeters. All gas discharge bulbs use a ballast and take a while to burn at full power. When replacing, you need to take into account that you cannot change the wattage amount. The ballast is adjusted to this, and the light bulb or ballast can burn out at a different wattage. The light bulb becomes very hot, so let the gas discharge bulb cool down or use a cloth.
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness).
