T5 LED Tubes
T5 LED tubes come as an energy-efficient version of the conventional fluorescent T5 tubes. LED fluorescent light has multiple advantages. The disadvantage of conventional fluorescent tubes is that they work with toxic gases like mercury. The LED fluorescent tube is mercury-free, so therefore better for the environment. In addition, the LED tube makes more efficient use of energy. For example, the LED tube uses up to 40% less energy to achieve the same light output as the conventional fluorescent tube!

The colour code is a combination of the colour rendering index (CRI) and the colour temperature (K). The first number refers to the CRI (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum accuracy). The second and third numbers refer to the colour temperature. For example, a light with a colour code of 830 has very good colour rendering and produces a warm white light.
