Philips LED Downlights are stylish recessed fixtures that are perfect as general lighting for shops, corridors and reception areas. The LED downlights are mounted into the ceiling and can replace conventional downlights easily. This is possible because the LED fixture fits into the same mounting opening and is also equipped with plug-in connectors. The Philips LED downlights give a natural lighting effect and can be acquired in warm white (3000K) and cool white (4000K). The colour code is a combination of the colour rendering index (CRI) and the colour temperature (K). The first number refers to the CRI (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum accuracy). The second and third numbers refer to the colour temperature. For example, a light with a colour code of 830 has very good colour rendering and produces a warm white light.
