The lifespan is an indication of the number of hours a product will last. This refers only to the hours the product is actually on. LED lighting has a significantly longer lifespan than conventional lighting. LED lighting therefore lasts much longer. How long you can actually use a product depends on the extent of its (daily) use. |
Average Lifetime (h) | 50000 |

Replaces (Watt) | 58 |

i
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
|
Wattage | 20 |

Dimmable bulbs work in combination with a dimmer switch and allow you to determine the desired light output. Dimming also provides energy saving potential because less power is required when the lamp is producing less light.

The cap/base of a bulb is the part that connects it to the socket in the fixture. E27 (Edison screw) and E24 (small Edison screw) caps/bases are among the most popular, although this depends on your location. GU10 is generally the most common cap/base for spotlights. Check which cap/base you need carefully as many other types are also available.

Because you can set the direction of the light yourself, a rotatable LED tube is extra efficient with energy. Moreover, the light does not shine around 360 degrees unnecessarily, as is the case with conventional fluorescent tubes.

![]() The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K). |
Colour Code | 840 |

i
|
Colour temperature (Kelvin) | 4000 |

i
The colour rendering index (CRI) indicates how accurately colours are represented under a beam of light. The index goes from 1 to 99, with a CRI of 1 being the poorest and a CRI of 99 being the best possible. Be careful not to confuse colour rendering with colour temperature (K).

Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |

The light color indicates the color of the light emitted: white, colored, or UV. For many products in our assortment, the light is white, available in a range from very warm white to daylight white (expressed in Kelvin). With colored light, you have two options: 1. A single fixed color, such as red or green. 2. RGBW, which means you can adjust the light color at any time: white or colored.

The colour control type tells you in which way you can regulate the colour of the light. You have the following options:
By choosing your preferred light colour options, you are one step closer to the right light product. |

Lumen (lm) is the term used to describe the total amount of visible light emitted by a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the brighter it is.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 3100 |
|
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|
Lumen per watt | 155 |

Lighting with a sensor only turns on when it receives a specific signal. This reduces energy costs. The (built-in) sensors respond to darkness (twilight switch) and/or movement (motion sensor).

You need a LED starter if the fluorescent lighting in your current fixture also contains a starter. In that case, you have a fixture with a conventional ballast (EM). A LED starter replaces your current starter and ensures that a LED tube works.

| Requires Ballast | No | |

i
A ballast can be seen as an energy regulator that switches on the lighting. Is there a starter in the fixture? Then this is a conventional ballast (EM). Fixtures with an electronic ballast (HF) don't have a starter. A LED driver can be compared to an electronic ballast and only works with LED lighting.

Description Osram LED Tube 150cm | 4000K 20W - Advanced
The Osram LED Tube 150cm | 4000K 20W - Advanced belongs to one of the most energy-efficient replacers of the conventional T8 fluorescent tubes. The LED tube is produced by Osram, which ensures you of quality! With a wattage of only 20W, this Osram tube can achieve the same light intensity as the conventional fluorescent T8 tube that needs to use 58W to achieve the same. You will certainly notice this difference in your energy costs.
Advantages of LED
The reduced wattage use is only one of the advantages of LED lighting. The Osram LED fluorescent tube is also very eco-friendly. Where the conventional fluorescent tubes use toxic gases like mercury to make the tube function, this is not the case with the Osram LED tube. Recycling this LED tube at the end of its lifetime is therefore very easy. However, you don’t have to worry about this for a long time due to the Osram LED tube lasting an average of 50000 hours.
