Conventional ballast
The Budgetlight Lucent LED PL-C CFL bulbs in this group have a 2-pin base. This means that they can easily replace the conventional 2-pin CFL bulbs. Existing fixtures with a conventional (electromagnetic or EM) ballast can work just fine with the new LED lights. Always keep in mind that you can only use a 2-pin lamp in combination with a conventional ballast (EM). It is also possible to directly connect the Budgetlight PL-C LED energy saving bulbs to AC (Mains).
