G4 (MR11) Halogen Bulbs
The G4 halogen bulbs are capsule bulbs that due to their compact size fit perfectly in small fixtures. Because the G4 halogen bulbs fit so well in small fixtures, these light bulbs are especially suited to place in an extractor fan or oven in the kitchen or in bathrooms. The G4 base has a 4mm distance between the 2 pins and is easy installable due to the plug in system. Due to the halogen bulbs working on 12/24V, they will need a transformer to be connected to the power network. The G4 bulb often gets confused with the GU4 bulb, but these are two completely different light bulbs. For example, the GU4 is a halogen spot.
